The teams were divided into 4 groups and the league matches were conducted on the first day with each team playing the other teams in their group. Group A winners were Directi & Ogilvy whereas Zee Essel Finance and first timers Evonik B India lost out. Group B was a tough affair and teams Serco Global & WNS A prevailed over Star India and Mastek Mavericks after some intense matches. Group C had teams ZEEL FC (Zee Entertainment) & HSBC share top honours by goal difference and again first timers Evonik A missing out. In Group D it was team Sony TV & WNS B who shared top honours with Citrus Strikers losing out qualifying for the quarter finals.

28th June witnessed intense matches in the quarter finals with Directi prevailing over WNS A 2 - 0 in a tough first match. Serco Global played fluently to win over the Ogilvy team 4 - 0 whereas WNS B made played excellently to prevail 6 - 0 over ZEEL FC. HSBC entered semi finals by default.

The first semi final displayed some excellent football skills between Directi and WNS B and WNS prevailed 3 -1 eventually though the scores don't quite reflect the intensity of the match. Serco team (favourites by now) prevailed over HSBC 4 -1 to set up the title clash with WNS B

The finals was by far the best match of the tournament between two strong teams and Serco won by a narrow 2 -1 margin but not before some final moments where WNS B almost equalised in the last few seconds but were denied with the ball deflecting from the goal post thereby denying what could have been a penalty shootout. Serco Global emerged deserving champions.
